Bognor Activities
Right Here Bognor offers FREE resilience-building activities to people aged 14-18 in Bognor.
Through our activities we provide young people with the opportunity to develop confidence and resilience, meet new people, and have fun.
Our activities guide 2015/16
- Dog Walk and Talk – Counselling and group walk for supporting people experiencing anxiety
- Open to 14-18’s living in Bognor, Chichester and Littlehampton
- 1-1 with a counsellor 5th Aug
- group walk 8th Aug 3-6pm
- 1-1 debrief with a counsellor 12th Aug
- Equine Therapy – Lead by equine therapists and counsellors, learn new ways to understand and communicate your feelings by interacting with horses.
- Open to 14-18s living in Bognor, Chichester and Littlehampton
- Free minibus to and from stables
- Group runs for 4 Tuesday afternoons: 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th Aug.
- 5 Ways to Wellbeing Walk & Talk – A group walking activity in the countryside with games and exercises exploring the ‘5 Ways to Wellbeing’ (connect, be active, take notice, keep learning and give).
- Group to start Autumn 2015 (Dates TBC)
- Bushcraft – Get in touch with your inner Bear Grylls with outdoor activities designed to help you explore your mood and improve wellbeing in the open air.
- Group to start Autumn 2015 (Dates TBC)
- Mind Management – Run by mindfulnes practitioners, create a ‘stress-free me’ by learning to manage your thoughts and feelings with weekly mindful meditation practice.
- Group to start Autumn 2015 (Dates TBC)
- Food and Mood – A 6 week cooking group designed to help you learn new skills, improve your relationships and find ways to enhance your mood and manage feelings.
- Family or groups to start Autumn 2015 (Dates TBC)
- Canine Counselling – Weekly confidential sessions to explore your feelings with a counsellor and supportive furry friend – Pablo the therapy dog.
- Individuals to start November 2015 (Dates TBC)
- Body Confidence – A 5 week supportive group to promote self confidence and help create a positive attitude to body image.
- Group to start Jan/Feb 2016 (Dates TBC)
