A voice and a choice for our mental health

Digital Support

We provide a number of digital support services for anyone to access anywhere.

We run 3 support service websites, as well as social media pages. This allows us to expand our reach to people all around England.

Find Get Give (coming soon) – www.findgetgive.com

Find Get Give is part of the Innovation Labs initiative. It will be an England-wide database of mental health support services that work with young people aged 16-25. It will be launching in early 2014. It is currently being built, and the design has been worked and reworked by young people from Brighton and Hove, Eastbourne, Sheffield, and Newham.

The site will allow young people to find help in their area, and offer their feedback to those services once they’ve accessed their help. Find Get Give will allow young people to make informed choices about the services that they access, and enable services to gather much-needed feedback and opinions on what is working for young people, and what isn’t.

Once the website is live we will be adding areas gradually. Look out for your local area soon.

Where To Go For – www.wheretogofor.co.uk

Where To Go For is a support service database and online map for support in Brighton and Hove. Covering areas from mental health, to physical activity, to money, employment, parenting, and volunteering to name a few, Where To Go For enables 13-25 year olds to find the help they need in any area of their life. We are extremely lucky in Brighton and Hove to have a strong support community for young people, but finding help isn’t always easy. Where To Go For allows young people to browse through over 100 services in the local area, finding the services that are close to them.

It is funded by Brighton Youth Collective.

Doc Ready – www.docready.org

Doc Ready is part of the Innovation Labs initiative. It was developed in partnership with young volunteers from Right Here Brighton and Hove. It contains advice and information about visiting a GP about a mental health issue. It also allows people to build a checklist in order to prepare for the meeting itself.

With GP appointments lasting a maximum of 15 minutes, it’s useful to prepare in advance to ensure you say everything you need to as quickly as possible. This gives your doctor more time to effectively diagnose and treat you. Doc Ready can help make that happen.
